Yes
All oilfield servicing rigs shall become Kansas certified before operating on state highways. The servicing rig may not be driven on any portion of the Interstate.

Movers allowed to haul all the necessary/required pieces of equipment that is needed to repair a well site in one day .

| How far will the certification allow me to travel? |

Owners of certified OSR’s may move their drilling rigs within a 100 mile radius of the designated “Place of Business.” When filing for this certification the mover must provide the exact location of his "Place of Business."

| On occasion, I may need to move the certified OSR beyond this radius. What do I need to do?

Movers shall obtain a standard permit application, fill it out properly and receive a trip permit to move your vehicle to a specific destination
|
| Once the reason for being at this location is no longer valid, a return trip is allowed on this permit if it is made within 7 calendar days |
|
Once the 7 day window has expired, a subsequent permit is required to move the OSR back within the 100-mile radius.
