Property Adjacent to the Highway

These areas left unmowed for wildflower growth and wildlife cover may concern adjacent landowners. KDOT will try to keep these areas free of unwanted vegetation. Landowners may mow the right of way in front of their property to whatever height they feel is attractive. Landscape improvements may be allowed on highway right-of-way by adjacent landowners by obtaining a permit from any local KDOT office.
